Established in 1996, our chapter was formed to address concerns about administrative overreach and advocate for faculty rights. After careful consideration of potential affiliations, we aligned with the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) to best represent our values and interests. Starting with 25 charter members, we continue to serve as a united voice for faculty, promoting academic freedom, shared governance, and professional excellence.
